As a class, we planned and made a persuasive video to stop deforestation. We worked in groups to put our message across. We then used our videos to write persuasive letters to the head of a construction company to stop deforestation.
We were very lucky to receive a visit from Mad Science. We had an assembly all about inventions and our Mad Scientist 'wowed' us with lots of interesting experiments. We then had a workshop in our classroom focused around Bugs and insects. We learnt all about the different body parts and even made an insect model.
During Remembrance week, we learnt all about World War I, why we remember soldiers and why the symbol of the poppy is used! We then learnt a poem all about remembrance!
