Extended Services
Bedford Primary is an Extended school, this means we are sincerely committed to helping our families balance work and family commitments, supporting our children with their studies and offering a broader range of experiences and interests. We are very proud of our ever increasing range of extended services and are committed to offering our services and facilities to the local community.
A large part of our school’s Extended Services is our fantastic timetable of out of hours clubs which run throughout the school year. Many of the activities we offer are free of charge however in some cases we levy a small, nominal charge to cover costs of recruiting external providers and supporting club materials and resources. We are always willing to discuss club costs with parents who may find it difficult to meet the costs of out-of-hours clubs at our school so please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff if you would like to know more.
All of the staff and volunteers supporting our Extended Services are fully checked and CRB cleared, clubs are continually monitored and evaluated to ensure they are the best they can be.
Please click here to go to our What’s On pages to find more information about our out of hour’s clubs including latest timetables and details of our Family Learning activities.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of Bedford Primary’s Extended Services provision or have ideas of what you’d like to access at our school please do not hesitate to contact our Extended Services Team via the school office.
