Design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical systems; solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts.

On the week beginning 23rd November 2015, Year 5 took part in a lesson focusing on elements of coding as part of our Hour of Code week.


They began to use Scratch and develop an understanding of how to create and edit a sprite. In addition to this, they were able to input a block code in the script box to give their sprite a set of instructions. This lesson was the first of a series of lessons using Scratch.
