Super Schools leaders share their skills
Students from Hugh Baird college are working with Year 4 children on their football and fitness skills.
The students are studying for their Football and Sport Coaching qualifications and the experience they gain at Bedford is an essential component of their college course.The children work on a different activity each week and Year 4 are really enjoying working with the students and learning from them.Super Schools is a project founded by Hugh Baird where students work with local primary schools around the Borough. Phil Oliver, Lecturer at Hugh Baird, says, ‘the project is going really well and it is mutually beneficial to all those involved. Our students are gaining great experience and the primary school children are really enjoying the wide and varied activities that are being provided.
