On Monday 10th November our Year 6 team experienced a whole afternoon of what it was like to be alive during World War One. Pupils were enlisted and then marched off to experience drill instructions. Following this they received hands on experience of what a trench looked like, watched pathe news reels and went for a visit to the hospital to tend to their war wounds. To finish off the whole experience, pupils made their own poppies with a message of remembrance to all those who have given their lives in past and present wars. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative afternoon. The photos speak for themselves!
