Out of School Sporting Achievements

Callum, who is Year 5, attends Train Hard Taekwondo every Tuesday. He recently went from a white belt to a yellow stripe belt. Well done Callum.
Kieran, who is one of our Y6 sporting superstars, plays for a team called Remyca, who have finished 2nd in the Under 12s Jimmy Donaghue League... even though they are only an Under 11s team! Well done Kieran and your team mates!

Sarah, one of our talented Year 5 pupils, attends Escape Dance Academy six times a week. Sarah participates  in fast and slow dancing, as well as musical theatre.

On 8th October, Sarah won a competition at The Rose Centre! She got 1st place in the fast section, and she was also awarded 2nd place in slow. Fantastic Sarah!

On 5th November, Sarah entered a competition, in which she made the final for her fast dance - she was eventually awarded 3rd place! She also placed 3rd in the pairs competition! Following this event, Sarah moved up to an intermediate class for fast dancing. Well done Sarah - we are very proud of you!

Rhianna, one of our Year 6 superstars, attends North Liverpool Dance Academy, where she does ballet, tap, modern and musical theatre.

Recently she went to Sheffield to compete in the UK Dance Class Championships, where she got through to the semi-finals in all of her sections. People from all over the UK took part in this competition, so Rhianna feels very proud to have done so well! Rhianna hopes to compete again next year, when the Championships are being held here in Liverpool! Well done Rhianna (and good luck for next year)!

Niccole is one of our talented Year 6 pupils and she attends Loretta Legge School of Dance. She goes to classes 4 times per week, and she trains in lyrical, modern, tap and trio. Recently, Nicci entered a dance competition in Northwich, but unfortunately did not get placed. She felt very proud of herself however, and we are proud of her too!
Niccole has recently taken part in a dance competition in Ellesmere Port, in which she placed 1st for her 'Old Bamboo' routine, 2nd for her Trio and 3rd for her 'Lion King' piece. Congratulations Nicci!
