Fundraising & B.E.S.T Friends
THE WORK OF B.E.S.T. (Bedford’s Enrichment & Support Trust)
Over the years B.E.S.T has worked hard to raise funds through various activities such as raffles, disco’s, table sales and Christmas events to name but a few. The charity has also achieved terrific success bidding for further funds from external sources to support important projects such as the building of The Hub, our fantastic community building which hosts workshops, courses and community events. The charity has also contributed to the wonderful new Key Stage 1 playground which the children enjoy on a daily basis. You will see further down this page photographs of the many resources B.E.S.T has helped raise funds for.
Our school charity needs your support. If your child attends our school or you live, work or run a business locally andyou can spare a few hours every now and again to support the work of our BEST charity, please let us know. Whether you have links to local businesses, bake cakes, are willing to sell raffle tickets, help out at a school disco or have new ideas and suggestions for events and activities that you think our families would enjoy, we would welcome your support.
Details of future B.E.S.T Friend’s meetings will be posted on this site, alternatively you can call into the office and speak to one of our friendly office staff.

B.E.S.T Events 2016
We have had some amazing events throughout 2016 when we came together to raise money to benefit our children.
Our Easter Bingo was a roaring success, with a record amount of families attending to win some brilliant prizes.
This year we decided to bring back our Christmas Fayre which was a resounding success - and as always it is down to the commitment of our families and friends.
We were so proud of all our Bedford Academy of Arts Students who had worked very hard in their after school clubs to make most of the items for the fayre. We had everything from homemade wreaths from the Gardening Club to Bedford mugs from the Creative Crafts - and some gorgeous cakes from the Bedford Bakers.
Project Panto was back with a vengeance and the money raised from our various events ensured that the whole school trip to the Panto at the Liverpool Empire took place. The Panto this year was 'Snow White' and everyone enjoyed every minute of it - children and teachers alike!
