At Bedford Primary we value our work as an Extended School and we are committed to helping our families balance work and family commitments, supporting our children with their learning and offering a broader range of experiences and interests out of hours. 

We currently offer after-school childcare until 4.30pm Monday- Thursday. Places are £5 per child and be booked via the Arbor app. Tax free child care payments and vouchers can also be used to pay for places. Please contact the main office if you require more information.

After School Clubs 

We are proud of the range of activities that we offer our children at Bedford Primary. Our objective is to offer something for everybody throughout the course of the year in our after school clubs, focusing on sporting activities and creative endeavours. We believe that activities after school are equally as important as those during schools hours and we encourage all of our children to take part in after school clubs.

We offer a range of clubs to our children and cater for all tastes. Some clubs are free of charge and for other clubs there is a small charge, normally of £3 per session, which includes all materials and equipment necessary for the club.

Our after school clubs also provide us with an opportunity to identify children who are gifted and talented in subjects outside of the school curriculum. We work closely with our Club Leaders to identify these children and ensure that their talents are nurtured.
