Giving your child the very best start to school life:

The Reception year marks most children’s very first step into formal schooling. This can be an exciting and nerve-wracking time for children and parents alike! Your child will start learning through play. They will be busy exploring, discovering, and listening to stories. They will be getting used to the school environment and learning to concentrate and listen to their teacher.  We are here to support you and your child every step of the way and have posted some useful information below. The information is designed to give your child the very best start to school life.  If we can be of any further support, do not hesitate to get in touch.

Online Safety:

What should I do if I see something upsetting online?

Stop – If you see something you don’t like, then don’t click on it. If something appears during a video

you are watching, close it.

Think – Remember, you are safe.  Don't answer any messages that are upsetting.  Only kind and sensible things should be shared online.

Share – TELL a trusted adult as soon as you can so that they can block and report.
