• Remembrance through poetry

  Children at Bedford have been remembering all the service men and women, past and  present, who have given their lives for our freedom. As part of Remembrance week 10th-14th November 2014 every year group has studied and shared a poem of remembrance with the whole school.  After a week of activities looking back at World War One our children have begun to truly understand the events of the past. This was reflected in the moving performances they gave to the whole school.  You can share in these performances by following the link here.

• Operation Christmas Child Appeal

  Samaritan's Purse are once again appealing for people to donate filled shoe boxes for their annual Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal. We would be grateful for any assistance you can give. If you feel you are unable to fill a full shoes box of your own we have set up a donations box to which you can add individual items such as flannels, toothbrushes, soap etc. Please see the leaflet for the list of items needed. Please return all your shoe boxes or donations to school by Tuesday 18th November.
