  • Remember, Remember the 8th of December

    Thu 24 Nov 2016

On Thursday 8th December 2016 from 3.15pm -5pm we'll be opening our doors to a Winter Wonderland of gifts, cakes, toys and a host of other goodies to buy at our Christmas Fayre. All of our children are working really hard organising the fayre and making the items to sell and we are looking forward to welcoming you to share the Christmas love!

All of the proceeds from our Christmas Fayre will go to our B.E.S.T Charity which helps our children in a number of ways.

    See you soon!

  • It's all stacking up...

    Thu 17 Nov 2016

We have completed our contribution for the Guinness World Record for mass participation for speed stacking. Forty six children (and one enthusiastic adult!) stacked for half an hour each from 9.30am until 3pm. We feel so lucky to have been part of such an amazing worldwide event and wait with bated breath for the Guinness World adjudicators to confirm we will be in the Guinness Book of Records.

  • We're going for a World Record!

    Thu 17 Nov 2016
Today at Bedford we are one of over 625,000 schools worldwide taking part in the Guinness World Book of Records for the most people stacking in multiple venues. Our children started stacking at 9.30am and will continue until 3pm today. We are so excited and proud to be a part of this amazing challenge!
  • Promoting 'Power for Good'

    Tue 15 Nov 2016

This week is Anti-Bullying week and at Bedford we are working hard to focus attention on the important issues highlighted in the campaign. Anti-Bullying Week in England is coordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and the theme this year is 'Power for Good' with the following key aims:

    • To support children and young people to use their Power for Good – by understanding the ways in which they are powerful  and encouraging individual and collective action to stop bullying and create the best world possible
    • To help parents and carers to use their Power for Good – through supporting children with issues relating to bullying and working together with schools to stop bullying
    • To encourage all teachers, school support staff and youth workers to use their Power for Good– by valuing the difference they can make in a child’s life, and taking individual and collective action to prevent bullying and create safe environments where children can thrive
