• Tasty tricks and treats at the Bedford Bistro

  Halloween was celebrated in style today in the Bedford Bistro with tricks, treats and lots of tasty food with a Halloween twist.

  Bedford boys and girls enjoyed a Halloween stew - made in the cauldron! - special cupcakes and even biscuits in the shape of bats.

  The children enjoyed eating their lunch in the Bistro even more than usual - and say a big thank you to our wonderful catering team for all their hard work!

• Bedford celebrates International Day of the Girl

  On Wednesday 11th October the 1.1 billion girls around the world are celebrated on International Day of the Girl. At Bedford Mrs Finlayson presented an Assembly with the message that everyone is equal and they we can achieve whatever their dreams and ambitions are regardless of whether we are a girl or a boy.

  We also learned the important lesson that 'anyone can be anything. Anything is possible.' Today we are wearing our badges with this motto with great pride.
