Online Safety Session - Monday 11th November

Dear parents/carers of pupils in years 4 , 5 & 6,

On Monday 11th November, the children in Year 4 and Year 6 will be welcoming  independent e-safety expert Karl Hopwood to Bedford.

In terms of keeping our children safe online, Karl brings a wealth of experience with him and his visit provides parents and carers of children in Years 4 & 6 with a unique opportunity to hear from the absolute best. Keeping all of our children safe is of paramount importance to us - this really is an unmissable session for all Year 4 & 6 parents/carers.

We are also aware that Christmas is on the horizon and that the demand for consoles and shiny new gadgets is higher than ever, as are the chances of children stumbling across dangers or adult content. Once something harmful is viewed it cannot then be unseen. Our school safeguarding team very often tackles more online than offline concerns and are committed to doing all we can to protect the wellbeing of all of our children.

To ease the other pressures that Christmas brings, all attendees will be entered into a prize draw for a £50 Smyths toys gift card.

The first session is 9.00 - 9.40 and the second session is 2.40- 3.20

Holiday Activity Fund - activities and dates for children in receipt of free school meals
