Meet the Team


Close partnerships with our families are very important to us at Bedford. Apart from your child’s class teacher, there are many team members who are always happy to help and sort out any questions or queries you may have.

These include:


Assistant Headteachers

Mrs Gordon is our Assistant Headteacher responsible for KS1 & EYFS.

Miss Gahan is our Assistant Headteacher responsible for KS2. 


They are supported by our three phase leaders 

 Miss O'Gara who is the Foundation Stage Coordinator, Mrs Rowlands-Malone who is responsible for KS1 (Year 1/2) and Mrs Boulton who is responsible for Y4/5


Mrs Taylor is our SENDCO and also a member of the senior leadership team.


Miss Wishart is our Designated Mental Health & Wellbeing Lead and also a member of the senior leadership team


 Mrs Wookey is our Learning Mentor she is supported in her role by our Pastoral Administrative Assistant  Miss West and the team from Well Young Persons.


We also have support from Danielle, Amy and Sean who are  Intensive Support Practitioners from School Home Support (SHS). They support the pastoral team in addressing any barriers families are facing with school attendance.  

Our Pastoral team are always happy to offer support and guidance to children and their families on any matter; they play a fundamental role in helping all children to achieve their true potential.

Mrs Salkeld is our Business Manager, she is supported by our office team,

Mrs Keegan, Miss Weston and Mrs Gault who are often a parent/carer's first point of contact.

If they can’t answer your questions; they can always direct you to someone who can.

School Nurse
We have the support of a team of Nurses who are based at Park Street Health Centre in Bootle, school nurses work closely with staff in school to offer support and guidance on any health related matter.
Our school nurse can be contacted via the school office.
